i recently baked a strawberry shortcake for my friends to celebrate our 20th bday!!!

~the sponge cake. it wasn't as light as i hoped it would be. but it wasn't too bad. the cake wasn't too sweet. juz nice...

~my horrible icing skills.. lol not smooth at all right... lucky could cover the flaws w the ladies fingers n strawberries...

~cake w the ladies fingers... brushed them w liquer sugar soln so tt they went a bit soft n spongecake like rather than hard n crunchy.

~the end product... :) happy with how the cake turned out...

anyway we went for kbox to celebrate. it was super fun! we had a bday song, cake cutting ceremony n gift exchanging... had a great time... juz like the old days in secondary sch :D
