started on granny's cake immediately upon arriving back home after the jc gathering... with the help of mum, managed to complete the cake at 3am... was a pretty big feat... the gigantic black forest was 5kg in weight! took so much fresh cream n chocolate n cherries!!! but it was worth it.. quality ingredients for better taste... if we were to buy this size from a bakery, it would prob cost close to $200 or more! thankfully my cake was well received! granny was very happy n impressed tt i baked the cake myself... most of the cake was eaten, only brought back a small portion for my bro who hadn't tried it... i tink i'm getting a bit sick of fresh cream cakes.. will be awhile b4 i start baking them again... haha :D
