had my wisdom tooth extracted today... the dentist was realli nice and friendly and answered every single qn i had.. turns out he studied at NUS and ever lived at pgp as well.. 10 years ago tt is... i guess he tried to make me less anxious by talking bout nus, the rag, the hostels, the course i took.. stuff to divert my attn... but seriously... the first injection was so painful!!!! then the numbness set in... the dr gave me 4-5 jabs juz to be sure i didn't feel any pain... but by then couldn't realli feel anything.

generally, it was a painless but rough procedure... the LA did it's job la... but there was also brute force involved.. then the dr tried to be funny... he said "don't make me laugh cos u dun wan me to be laughing while i'm doing this".. then u take a moment to tink bout wat he juz said.. wait a min.. i'm lying there with something covering my eyes n with my mouth opened wide... how can i make him laugh?

well.. now's postop... wound bled for quite awhile... had to use a number of gauze. then the LA wore off.. left with this throbbing pain tt became excruciating when i tried to open my mouth... hardly any dinner for me... took painkillers... i'm hungry now... sad.

hope the pain will go away soon and the hole filled up with tissue asap and stiches removed...
