I turned 19 on 28th June. All of a sudden i feel old... i mean being 19, isn't that the last tenth year? Next year i'll be 20! Nv realised tt growing up was so fast. Just when i tot the common tests and mugging for As would nv end.

Well, i must say that my birthday this year is somewhat more special.. Mostly in a sense that it marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life (as cliched as it sounds). haha. Semester starts on 6 august. I guess i am thankful to have been given an opportunity to do medicine in NUS. There are perhaps more talented pple out there who have been denied this chance and i know how fortunate i am. As much as i forsee the journey ahead being long and arduous, i must constantly remind myself that this was the choice i made and i will strive to do my very best.

I am glad to be joined by several of my good old pals... pple like yinghui, mok, hanlong, yiliang, yizhe. Guess it helps to have pple to fall back on, pple to rely on for support and encouragement. Not tt i would'nt make new friends when uni starts... haha but old pals do make a difference i guess. :)

Anyway, many thanks to yinghui, tianyi and sherlene for having dinner with me on my brithday. Had fun! Known u guys for like 1/3 my entire life. Really glad to have u guys as friends... Anyway, while i was waiting for u guys, i sat at the bench in citylink mall to the entrance of marina sq and pple-watched. Rather surprisingly, i noticed quite a number of pple i knew... from pri sch to jc... well it only goes to show that when u realli bother to stop and observe, u'll "see" more... ok i wasn't trying to be philosophical...

ok then... looking forward to medicamp and term to start. :)
